Rather than just blame all woes on whatever label I tend to have a beef with, I prefer to actually focus on who is actually doing what. Since I am not, myself, an author or investigative journalist, I rely on those who are to give me some meat in this regard.
Allow me to introduce Dennis G., who now blogs at Balloon Juice. Some of you may know him as dengre from Daily Kos and he's also posted at FireDogLake. As either of those posts show, he has been putting a ton of effort into researching the Jack Abramoff scandal.
What's important here is that just because Abramoff went to the pokey, his cronies, minions and co-grifters haven't gone anywhere. In fact, they've been quite busy, pulling the strings of the Tea Party movement.
No summery I give would do justice to the links and information that Dennis G. and Thomas Frank provide. So, if you need something to fill your weekend, start following the web.
Sadly for you Rob, the last victim of Jack Abramhoff will be your boy Jon Tester.
Do you think that clips of him talking about Abramhoff won't be in the commercials in two years, along with a voice telling us that the Justice Dept determined that there was nothing there?
And that's just one Tester lie.
So, please keep beating that dead horse Rob.

Willfully stupid to the last, aren't you, Eric.
Are these the people you want in charge of the Tea Party?

To be 100% honest - I couldn't care less.
The 'Tea Party' members will vote using their conservative values.
