The key to the NFL is KNOWING that it is staged. I picked the Patriots to win from the start of the season, and I rode them all season to a Super Bowl victory for a season total of $11,440!!
You know, they tricked alot of people into believing that the Packers were a "destined team" blah, blah, blah. Yeah right, put your money on the Packers you fools. Put your money on KC, and all the other teams they have tricked you into believing are good.
Then they also bring the Panthers out of nowhere, and major $$$ is lost by fans of sports betting. But not me, oh no, I've known that the NFL goes by scripts, and the Panthers were gold for me dring the playoffs. Thank you NFL, for if it wasnt for your set-ups and forced drama, I'd never have enough cash for my new car!

All my life I never liked football nor did my husband then in our 60's we became not just die hard fans but suffered a total obsessed addiction of the NFL.

1 season into this serious addiction--I noticed a lot of bad ref. calls with certain teams our favorite team played. mmmph! I said--how can that be. Then we had one team in our division that we hadn't beat in years and lo and behold we slaughter them not once but twice and the amazing thing was this was not our best year. mmmmph! Then the next week we play a team that has suffered numerous injured players and lose! Several bad ref calls. mmmph!

Did anyone notice that the owners of these teams are business men and only one NFL owner is a former NFL player?

My soulfull opinion is that the NFL is rigged somehow, someway, somehow.

When Sports Illustrated predicted the Carolina Panthers to win, I knew something was rotten in Denmark cause no way--Jake Delhommme number was up--he had his one good season and is finished. He lost his mojo last year. I must lay my addiction down.

James Frey's book A Million Little Pieces was more real than these NFL's games. The playoffs including the Super Bowl is rigged.

The "Tuck Rule" was the single worst call in NFL history. A perfect opportunity for the refs to take over the game and give it to the Patriots. I think that the entire 2001 football season was rigged in favor of the New England Patriots. It was just a few months after the infamous attack on the twin towers and the pentagon that the Patriots made their way into the playoffs after starting off the season with a 5-5 record. Everyone in America, at the time, still has a strong since of patriotism (which is what we should have after a horrible event) with the images of Sep. 11 still etched deeply in their minds.

A virtually unknown quarterback by the name of Tom Brady takes over in place of the injured Drew Bledsoe and leads the team to the playoffs.

With a team of unknown players the Patriots were to face the stacked Raiders team with Rice, Brown, Charles Woodson and Rich Gannon. It was a close game until the "tuck play" happened. Tom Brady clearly fumbles the ball and the Raiders jump on it thinking that the game had now become theirs to lose. Until, it gets reviewed. The refs say that Tom Brady had his arm in forward motion when the ball came out, but it was clearly stopped when the ball flew out. Thus, the "tuck rule."

The Patriots end up winning the game by an Adam Vinatieri field goal. They go on to make it to the Super Bowl where they face another stacked team (Rams) and won the game on the final play. I just find it ironic how the PATRIOTS won the Super Bowl right after Sept. 11th. Think about that.

Add another one to the tally of rigged games. Atlanta vs. New Orleans on sept. 25 2006. The story book game where the heroic saints reopen there newly renovated stadium, the site of tragedy last year, and magically beat one of the best teams in the league; Reviving the city and all its fans. Could you imagine if the saints would have lost last night?! That would have just been awkward, not too mention depressing, and not just for the fans but for the league as well. Football is the american sport and everything about it is supposed to be american and patriotic. (Refer to the post regarding the PATRIOTIC season after 9/11). It's symbol is NFL written on the flag! They couldnt let the falcons come in and win, so the NFL had to intervene to ensure its victory and its status as the most drama-packed sport. Don't forget the heroics and patriotism. It seemed as if the saints always knew exactly what the falcons were going to do on offense. It makes you wonder because all you really have to do is tell the other team’s defensive coordinator up in the booth what plays the opponent is picking, and he can relay a counter play back to the coach. It will work basically every time and it's not too unrealistic what with all the camera's, mic's etc all over the stadium. And why wouldn't you when it is the best business decision. I mean, c’mon there laughable defence shut down the most prolific running game in the nfl? They ran a record 552 yards on the panthers and the bucs (teams actually known for defence) and the “barely-beat-browns” stopped them like they were from the CFL. Not to mention the ref’s, who made some extremely shady calls (they're in on it too. who do you think they talk to when they go for a review?) Don't get me wrong what happened in New Orleans last year was a huge tragedy and I feel for them, they are truly heroic for their recovery, but im talking football. And the fact is that this game was just all too convenient and I, like God, do not play with dice and do not believe in coincidence. The NFL is the best run professional sports league in the history of mankind - a multi billion dollar corporation. In this United States so bent on making that extra dollar, it just suits them to have a capitalistic professional sports league like this to represent it. America loves drama and the NFL know$ it.

NFL is Rigged all sports are rigged. there is too much money involved. its too obivous a lot of the players need to take better acting classes so when they drop passes it doesnt look like they spiked it on the ground. Or HEY! maybe it's just a coincidence that 90% of the time that the team with more money bets on it loses the spread or even the game! I dont think so....it makes me sick when all those broadcasters and sports analysists sit there on their tv shows and talk all this bull crap about so and so has a good chance to win and so and so won the game because their defense stepped up and had a good game. kiss my butt! ESPN and the rest of the sports shows. u guys can quit with your games now. people are losing their lives and hard earned money because of your bs speculations. Maybe i shouldnt be complaining since after losing so much i finally caught on won it all back and im making myself a fortune due to these rigs!

mike

nfl is rigged on its own and im pretty sure its in someway manipulated by the government. after 9/11 the patriots won the super bowl. what more of a morale booster could that be to our country? even thought our respective home teams lost its still the PATRIOTS. the team they beat was the panthers. the panthers were named after a black radical group from way back when who were completly against america and wanted to see its downfall. sure maybe coincidence, but then when the war on terror breaks out the patriots win again that year. possibly coincidence, but then you get hurricane katrina. the next biggest tradgedy in this country since 9/11. when the name united states saints started being used i knew that the saints were going to win the super bowl. last nigh against the eagles it was very obvious the refs and commentators were against the eagles, and it was clear the refs tryed to call back everything, even a clear fumble in the eagles favor made the ref pause for a good 10 seconds waiting for something else to happen when the play was over. even the cameramen, the entire game no1 one eagles fan was shown on camera except with less then a minute left when it was clear the eagles lost, they showed one depressed kid with an eagles jersey on, and somehow thruout the game they showed a girl with a "fuck da eagles" shirt on, and another guy with a poser of an eagles player getting hung which im pretty sure both are against fcc rukes and what not. how could the 3-13 saints last year go to this playoff team with only adding on reggie bush? joe horn is out and they still keep going. if they win this superbowl then i am convinced the nfl is rigged. in last nights game the eagles were down 3 with a little over 2 minutes left. the eagles go for it on 4th and 10 because they had to go for the 1st down. on a very bad false start call the eagles now have to go 4th and 15 but for some retarded reason they now decide to punt. even people who dont know much about football will tell u how dumb that is because the saints can easily run the clock out and the eagles had no timeputs left. it was definitly staged. future newspaper article ---- feel good story of the century, the united states saints, 3-13 last year and now the super bowl champions. who wouldve thought after so much devastation from hurrican katrina that it would come to this.

Paul

Mike you're a fucking idiot.
The Saints added Drew Brees who happens to be the best QB in the NFC, and in the top 3 QB's in the entire league. I do think the NFL is rigged. But please know your fucking facts.

asdf

ypaul, so ignorant to think it's not rigged. only ignorant fans want peyton manning to win the super bowl ... no true fan of the sport , bc true fans see how it all pans out to be rigged... the NFL is targeted to people just as you Paul... listen and understand

Aren

You guys really are idiots.

The NFL is not rigged.

For every Super Bowl that you are saying has been rigged, there have been 10 that you're not even taking into consideration.

If the Patriots were "chosen" to win that year, why did they become the dynasty of this decade, and win two more, not to mention still competing today.

What about SB 35 where the Giants played the Ravens. Is there any subliminal meaning to that one? There was no drama, no controversy, and the favorite team won.

And even if somehow you're right, and the NFL is scripted, why do you want to know? Root for your hometown team and enjoy the good games, whether you're team comes out on top or not.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS

Yes, the NFL is rigged. It has become a ratings scheme similar to but not as extreme as professional wrestling which became a joke since Hulk Hogan emerged from Terry Hogan. Over the years football has become more and more a huge money involved sport involving corporations, sponsors, and television(FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC) trying for more ratings. Contracts with big business who hold the strings of the players involved following their instructions to increase beer sales, lift ratings, thus increasing the profit. Not quite sure if the govt. is involved but the NFL has plenty to gain drawing peoples attention having the "Patriots" win recently where we're in wartime mainly due to terrorists. Makes great soap opera style story lines to suck people in for ratings just like wrestling has done over the years.
This year there were alot of firsts in the post season, biggest comeback in the AFC championship game, the first time 2 African-American coaches are in superbowl, and Peyton Manning's 'first' superbowl win. Great ways to sucker people into watching and improve ratings. I think the NFL and the tv corporations saw what wrestling became for ratings and decided to follow suit to improve the ratings of football games. Plenty of money available in doing so.

Today is February 4, 2007. Super Bowl XLI, or 41 for those who don't know, has just ended a little while ago.

People like me betting on the Colts to win (but in my case, I posted a parlet for the spread, and win by 8). I had to hope the Colts won by 8 points, and a combined total of 49 to win the bet.

Unfortunatly, in the fourth quarter, one minute and thirty-nine seconds left on the clock, and fourth down. Colts have the ball on about the twenty yard line of the Bears. In this situation, you always kick a field goal. If they kick this field goal, the final score would have most likely been 32-17, Colts victory. I would have met my bets promise, and won a lot of money.

Unfortunatly, some complete asshole decided to run the ball on fourth and six. This is unheard of.

I come to the point in my life where I realized that professional sports are rigged. They knew the spread. The spread is set before the game. And vegas would have lost A SHIT LOAD of money, so they didn't kick the field goal. I will never watch professional sports, support any team, or lay wager down ever again on any sport, period. Completely outrageous, and I hope Tony Dungy gets lynched.

In addition to my previous comment, after shutting my pc down and turned on the news there was a story involving NFL lawyers. The lawyers informed a group that usually throws a huge Super Bowl party at a church with a big tv and alot of people that their party was against the law. Saying it is unlawful to use the name "Super Bowl" in advertising for the party, and unlawful to view the game on a tv bigger than 52". The story said reason being because the ratings system is done by household tv's(smaller size on average normally). This creates more ratings. Prohibiting the game from being watched on a bigger scale does so.
Low and behold, football has become a ratings interested game and money pulls its strings now.

Lets look at the pro bowl of 2007 anyone?? I knew it was rigged before this but what a joke. Manning on the 1 yard line with in first few minutes passes 4 times in a row none even close. LT was in the back field mmm. Stephen Jackson then runs his in easily. Romo bomb in the end, time being added back to the 2 min warning, kick a quick fg instead of running it in from the 1 again after a huge interference. haD THE UNDER AND TEAM CORRECT

i remember one year dallas couldn't beat philly but the giants did the commentators even called it before the game . dallas looses to giants giants beat philly then go to dallas and loose all that happened in the playoffs one year .. also you see one hand catches then the rest of the game fumble everything .. or half time 41 to 3 loosing viewers end game 44 to 35 .. i say it'd be easy to rig games plus the owners talk to each other .. look how theyre pushing green bay this year . i only watch pro ball from the playoffs on . and remember the refs they control it all they can make or break any game

Jimmy

I know some have mentioned the Saints miracle year last year, but what about what lead up to that year. Every magazine I picked up that off season touted Reggie Bush as the next coming of GOD. Yet somehow the Houston Texans decided that they had a good enough running back (can anyone name him) and picked Mario Williams with the number one pick, leaving Bush to the Saints. You can't tell me that the draft wasen't rigged. The NFL needed to give New Orleans something to cheer about because they needed a team in that market, so they got San Diego to give up on a great QB in Brees who went to the Saints than gave them a great RB in Bush. All of a sudden, by the grace of the NFL, they are winners.

A few weeks ago I would have said you're crazy. Now I've come to believe you're right. The NFL, apparently, is artificially building "heroes" out of Dallas and New England. I suspect that the bulk of the sales figures and ratings are for both of these teams, more than any of the others. I watched the Dallas/Detroit game today. It's the last NFL game I will ever watch. The officiating was such that if a Dallas player committed a penalty RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OFFICIALS they would pretend they didn't see it, never mind the fact that the MILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE WATCHING THE GAME DID.

As for the Cheatriots, well isn't it interesting how they can basically get away with spying when any other team would have faced far stricter sanctions? And how long have they been cheating? How many seasons?

The NFL had a chance to make more money from me, but they screwed themselves over and my money is walking.

jonathan tuttle

fuck the NFL the patriots have an undefeated season with the help of the refs. in the last game against the gaints. the patriots start all kinds of fights and poke people in the eye and then they call penalty's on the giants. 3rd and 14 and brady get's sacked weird that the refs call illegal contact 5 yard penalty atomatic first down. they end up scoring on that drive. they trow a long ball to randy moss for the nfl franchise record (randy moss most touchdowns in a season and most touchdown thrown by tom brady) randy moss didnt catch the ball wide open do they do the play agian and he is wide open again for the touchdown pass for both their racords. the patriots can do all the offencive and defencive pass interferance they want and wont get called. the refs are on there side. fuck the NFL fuck the NFL commisioner he can suck my dick. the patriots will prolly go to the superbowl agianst the packers and the packer win so bret farve can win a superbowl the last season that he plays. Or the pats will go on there perfect bull shit season. FUCK THE NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mark

with all the build on g b this year and farve going to retire soon they will beat n e in the superbowl this year . last week washington was unbeatable this week the giants killed them . ever see somebody make a one hand catch and the rest of the game can't stop fumbling or total domination then a come back 2nd half cause theyre losing viewers . and talk ncaa lsu 2 losses new orleans needs money and how many times did i hear about the hurricane . ok its 4th and 27 theyre going to run it up the middle make them missed tackles look good for 500 bonus money on this play

mark

i remember long ago the comentators before the game called it dallas couldn't beat the eagles giants did dallas lost to giants , giants beat eagles then went to dallas dallas won and went to the super bowl that game was rigged .

Rob Adcox

I see on the Yahoo home page that Brady "didn't need Moss" for the win tonight. That tells me this shit is definitely rigged; Brady is only an average passer without Moss. Interesting how no one outside of the New England area cares about the Pats, but yet they get all the media blowjobs. This shit is rigged.

Kevin Mack of Albany, OR

Patriots should have lost to the Baltimore Ravens this year. There were 1001 bad calls in that game that went against the Ravens... horrible calls that weren't even close, even a TD for the Pats that clearly never crossed the goal line.

Also, don't forget how the Patriots ended up winning the superbowl against the Panthers. Panthers are keeping up, tit for tat, game is tied and ready to go into overtime... but the kickoff is shanked and it ends up going out of bounds, giving the Patriots great field position and resulting in the game ending field goal. NFL is definitely rigged, but as the author of the article likes to say repeatedly; I digress.

Robert Kraft is unquestionably the most wealthy team owner in the NFL, thanks in large part to his success as an international investor and business man... he has connections as high up as President Bush... when the team was fined earlier in the season for "spy gate", where did that money go? It wasn't even a 1 million dollar fine, which means it was chump change to Robert Kraft, who paid 175 million dollars for the Patriots when they were, at the time, the worst team in the league... quite a bit to pay for a team at the bottom rung.

I forget which one of you said it earlier, but you are right... "Ignorance is bliss". I enjoy this game too much to let it be ruined by the truth, so I will slip into the same naive state of denial that the rest of the U.S. has fallin into and continue to enjoy my fantasy seasons and "upsets" from the underdogs.

p.s. I am not a Ravens fan, but I am a Panthers fan and avid hater of the Patriots.

Rob Adcox

The NFL is definitely rigged. The overrated Cheatriots aren't as good as their record indicates. Brady would cry like a little girl if he didn't have Moss to throw to.

infiniteadmin

So who wins the superbowl NE/NY? do they make the line? over/under?

Jack Burton

Men,

I've read every post. Make no mistake, you are all correct that the NFL is rigged. But the guy, Alex Jones Jr. I believe mentioned that he was winning a fortune due to the "rig" factor. I'm sorry Alex, but you're not! Trust me, I've been there and I know! If you were winning a fortune, you wouldn't post your anger here. Okay, with that said, let's get onto the point. And to make myself clear, I am in no way ridiculing or making fun of Alex. I FEEL his pain as I too have come up short too many times. On a side note, for the record, I had Indy/under in the 2007 SB and couldn't believe they didn't kick the FG at the end to make the final score 32-17 (an over). Of course "they" knew big money would exchange hands in the form of Las Vegas doing most of the giving!! I have been successful in the past three SBs. I had Pit/under, Indy/under, Giants/under. But it's too little too late as I've been down for most of these years. No big deal though. I WILL figure this stuff out! Notice how John Madden always states on MNF that "you can't figure this out." He knows all to well that IT IS in fact figure-outable (is that a word?) If it was all random, why mention it during the game?

I know better than to post my theories on line now. I did this many years ago to "vegasinsider.com" when they had a chat about fixes and stuff. What a stupid idiot I was!!!!! I was giving the NFL an "in" on what people thought about the games. It was an ingenious theory, and within the next couple of years, it doesn't exist any more. How? It's been around since the NFL began televising TV. It was my "network" theory!!! And it was awesome!!! I blabbed, and now it basically doesn't exist. Funny! Here's the quick version: Basically you had to watch the AFC/NFC games. I hope all of you know that the AFC was "owned" by NBC/now CBS and the NFC is owned by FOX. So when they meet each other, what network does the game? If you said the home team, man, you need a lot of work!!! But if you said the visiting team, there's hope! Well, I posted to vegasinsider.com about how the great comebacks were always by the visiting team since the network represented that team!!! Low and behold, within a year or two later, it doesn't happen again!!! How?!!! It's happened ever since the beginning of TV showing NFL games. Now suddenly it stops? Look at many of the great comebacks in 1999 and before (when I posted that great theory). Notice how TOO MANY times it's the visiting team in the AFC/NFC matchups. The reason I told the folks was not only were you betting against a certain team by taking the home team, but you were betting against their NETWORK!!!!! Very dangerous indeed! Enough on that. The NFL has since changed this since EVER SINCE I posted it on vegasinsider.com!!! My bad! I was a huge Dallas fan in the 70's and I'd tell my family that Dallas was going to lose today. They'd be like "why?" And as a 14 year old boy, I'd say "it's not their announcers." I didn't know why. I just knew something was "different." Then it hit me years later that it was the visiting AFC team to Texas stadium that's why they were on NBC and it wasn't Madden/Summerall announcing the game. I must admit, children are very astute at picking up stuff adults take for gratned. But I'd use it to make some cake here and there, but since I wagered so many games, I'd end up losing in the end. Even today, did you ever wonder why Dalls doesn't win every home game against the AFC for four or five years in a row? Ever wonder this? I have. There's still a little bit into the network theory, BUT NOT LIKE BEFORE!!!! So Alex Jones Jr., trust me, I've been there! You're not cleaning up!!!!

Trust me also, you're all correct. The NFL is scripted, but "they're" sly as well. Yes, I had the G-men/under this year too. The NFL had week 17 simulcast on three networks. A first........and it was a meaningless game!!!!! Fortunately for me, I was able to figure out what the NFL had planned. Come on, we all enjoyed the entertainment of the NE/Giants matchup in week 17, basically a nothing game!!! So how does the NFL make it that much more exciting? Have these same two teams meet in the SB. But the key was I KNEW the Giants would win this time (a great theory of mine that I won't reveal!!!). So Alex Jones Jr., I feel your pain, I've been there too many times. Remember, "they're" sly! I believe the NFL will be adding some new teams in 2009 or so. So that will throw EVERYTHING off!!!! All theories have one year left, this year in 2008. It started in 2002 with the addition of Houston. But it takes many years too see what "they're" up to. There's a good chance they won't work after this year. My new theories go back to 2002 when Houston came into the league. I finally figured out several really good plays for this upcoming year. I already know them and it's only March. Actually, I knew them in February!!! So I've got to capitalize this year and hit big!!!! To let everyone know, I only wager 50-100/game. I'm not by any means a heavy hitter!! I'm an "average Joe" salary wise. I've since learned not to reveal theories because in the past I was burned!!!! My network theory was ingenious like I said.

TO THE NFL: I've since got some other great theories!!! I know I've got one more year left before you change them on me! But I WILL be ready for the change and I WILL figure it out again!!! But you've got me by the short hairs because I bet every darn week and games where my theories don't apply, thus in the end you win a bit!!!! Make no mistake NFL, I WILL keep on top of what you're doing. How about this.......numbers, numbers, numbers. How did I KNOW the Giant/Bear game would go under this year. My lock of the year and I told many people the game would go under!!! It did. Big deal, I wagered too many other games. Numbers, numbers, numbers. Yeah NFL, I'm onto you! And I WILL make it happen!!! If I stick to a play here and there and bet a grand, I would easily be up. But I take guesses every darn week and wind up down. Nobody studies these games like I do NFL! NOBODY!!!!!! Good luck Alex Jones Jr. et al! I KNOW the effort it takes to predict winning football!!! And trust me, it "ain't" easy! Especially when "they" change it every six or seven years. But my network theory was one that was ingenious and I'm very proud of!!! Hey NFL, the Bal/Indy game this year? I bet Baltimore not over covers, but wins outright. But then again, maybe Indy blows them out! Hmmm. You know NFL............and so do I!

The Houston Texans running back was Dominic Davis. However, I do believe the NFL is fixed.. Key Examples
1. Eli Manning to the Giants.. Chargers can't make the Superbowl and the Barberless Giants slay Goliath for Eli's first ring.
2. Easy one: The Miracle of New Orleans
3. Vinaterri goes to Indianappolis, wins SuperBowl, Patriots have not one a SBowl since.
4. Miami Dolphins: Loose Marino, Loose everything.
5. Bill Parcells: Whatever he touches turns to gold: Giants, Patriots, Cowboys?
6. Romo drops the ball? come on how often does this happen in professional football?
7. Mannings, back to back superbowl wins?

These are just off the top of my head but I mean come on Professional Wrestlers refuse to admit wrestling is fake, why would NFL Athletes admit it

Whoever said the nfl isnt rigged isnt someone who bets and is an airheaded fan. I've been betting since the early 90's ive seen every little bullshit call there is. The refs are the number 1 . How do you think they make the spread and why are they so good at it? why do they call holdings and offsides sometimes without replaying it? its all in the money (vegas) money is power. Check out the money line. If more than 70 percent goes one team. I bet you all the hair on my balls the other team will win? Why? cause vegas will take a big hit? where the fuck do you think the nfl have all money to pay players millions of dollars?

Wow, this is pathetic.

Last time I checked, The bald eagle was the symbol of the U.S.A. So what would the patriots have anything to do with 9/11? Wouldn't you assume the Eagles would win the superbowl? It's a football team for fuck sakes! Just because they are called the patriots, doesn't mean anything.

And as for the drafts and Saints, to think reggie bush was sent to the saints because they needed something to cheer for is ridiculous? What happened to drew brees? who is definitely one of the best in the league. What about deuce mcallister? What about joe horn? Oh and I guess it was a big conspiracy that marques colston, being a 6-7th round pick, just happened to be their receiving leader. Well that could have been that they had a great 1-2 punch with deuce and reggie to establish the running game, which opens up the passing game. And when you have one of the best QB's on your team, good shit is gonna go down!

The amount of time the NFL has been around, there's bound to be a weird moment here and there. A funny coaching call, or a funny play.

And I agree with Aren up there. Why would you want to know if is? Just cheer for your team and don't cry when they lose, or if you lose a lot of money by betting on sports. You bet the money! The NFL didn't force you.

This is all just a bunch of garbage. And if you want to argue with me, email me (taylorw28@live.ca). Because I'm not coming back here every hour to hear another bogus story on how you lost money because, well, SHIT HAPPENS!!!

Its about time folks start paying attention. Im watching the Cowboys Steeler game yesterday and the Cowboys are ahead by 13 ,the game is a lock. Then out of nowhere there is offsides peneltys ,there is incomplete passes that Wade Phillips ( with 2 timeouts) dosent use and Tony Romo who I really beleive is just a 100 percent back pocket boy for vegas starts fumbling throwing ints. so badly that when Pitt ints. there is not even a Cowboy receiver in the picture of my 92 in projector screen. All the NFL wants is to keep as many teams alive as possible to keep filling stadiums full untill season is over

I do not beleive the NFL is rigged. I will share why. I play football and i am the shortest person on my team. and i have learned that you cannot rig football games. you cannot make the QB throw a certain length and you cannot make the receiver catch it. You cant control the kicking of a kicker.
Referees can blow calls as we saw in the Denver-San Diego game in September 2008. They can get paid to do that and thats about as rigged as the NFL can get. I know Ed hochuli (i think thats spelled right) regrets that call but my seats were right behind where he was and from our viewpoint it looked like cutler threw a pass that wass batted down by the Defensive End.
And on the third thing when everyones patriotic and then hurricane katrina and the saints start doing really good. I had a friend die a while back and the day i found out about it i played my hardest and my best because of the emotions. You play hard when you are emotional.

In conclusion:
THE NFL IS NOT RIGGED!
THE NFL IS NOT RIGGED!
THE NFL IS NOT RIGGED!

O.k there is definately some fishy business in the nfl no doubt, but I dont think its completely rigged. To compare the nfl to pro wrestling is absurd. It doesn`t deserve to be in the same catergory. I do believe every so often human nature of greed rears its ugly head but I watch enough football to honestly say its tolerable most of the time. I am not saying its justifiable but im not going to stop watching.

You've gotta know every sport is rigged. Come on, think about it, there is Vegas casino's all around the U.S. They add up the amount of bets from every casino and rig the games. U.S professionals sports are all rigged. Never believe in them.

All sports are rigged in some way! But to a certain point like the refs no calling a foul with 2 sec left and the other team up by 2. The decide alot of close calls. Playoffs in NFL the call things so chances of another team wins. World is about money. If you cant trust no 1 what makes you think you can trust tv or organization. Some people even believe reality shows are all true. Shut da fuck up and watch WWE than 2
