I understand, full well, the demands of real life. But I can't be the only one who wishes that Craig would post more.
Now that he's one focused puppy with a big ole bone, I really like Budge a whole lot more. The investment world isn't a hobby for this guy, now. It's an obsession. And strangely, that's actually more fun to read.
The racist tool Harris has completely lost it over Obama, and I'm loving to watch the meltdown. What a yutz.
I seriously cannot stand to read the Viceroy's Fuguestate, Scoop Montana or 2nd Grade Bike Rack. It really doesn't have anything to do with their content (which I force myself through anyway.) Someone needs to point out to these folk that switching fonts and font colors and styles multiple times in one post is just butt-ugly. Guys, it's not a Pollock painting; it's words and ideas. Quite being so icky about your writing.
The best of the breed is still Montana Headlines. But Wiley Cody and Kate could come close if they'd just get over their phobia of disagreement, and quit frantically stuffing their perpetual Straw Men. Still, it's fun to watch them wail ... I think the part that's most fun (for me) is seeing how absolutely scared they are that the Democrats, nationally, are going to drink their milkshake.
I agree with most of what you say here.
I'm actually pretty surprised with what's happened to Mike. I at least saw him as thoughtful before. I'm still trying to figure out what his angle is... He's could be just pissed off at his breakup with the left side of the blogosphere and is trying to piss you guys off... but I'm not sure.
I'm starting to lean more towards the idea that Mike's always been kind of a shill... the guy who's smart enough to see through the propaganda but sees absolutely no problem reproducing it and distributing it to the masses, whom he obviously sees as retarded enough to believe it. He's that guy who's perfectly willing to post about Obama's supposed elitism, precisely because he's suffering from an awful case of elitism himself in thinking that people who read his blog are dumb enough to eat that kind of bullshit up. In either case, we can both be happy he's not on our side anymore. The dude's got some serious issues.
And you may be giving BSCairn a little too much niceness in this post, I'm really turning sour on them. Cody is a slippery guy who thinks it's some kind of badge of honor that he never backs down or concedes a point even when he knows he's wrong. He simply stops talking. It's a mark of immaturity that reminds me of an all too recent version of myself.

Steve, you were so terribly correct about Wiley Cody. He is Eric with a more pleasant face. I apologize for being so incorrect.
