Right Wing Think
Steve Eschenbacher, Idiot For H.D. 96, took time out from his busy campaign to notice that he doesn't know anything about the Internets , or web services, or privacy for that matter. In doing so, he teems up with Dave Budge, fresh off his stint of flattering blowing smoke up the asses, (no that's not right either), profiting through the advice he gives old people concerning their money, to take a cheap shot at yours truly. What's remarkable is the glimpse into Budge-think:
Well, first on a point of fact, Wulfgar is employed by the ASMSU (I think) and not the state per se.
Emphasis mine. If he thinks it, it must be so, even if it isn't.
UPDATE: Even though Steve, ignorant as always, insinuates that Matt is up to something nefarious with his damnable Interwebby coding highjinks, he posts the link to at least one other website ... spreading the evil as it were. Yup, this guy wants to represent you, Missoula. Kindly let him know what you think.
UPDATE 2: Just so that Ste
ve knows I'm not remotely as full of crap as he is:
UPDATE 3: Steve Eschebacher, a candidate for the State House of Montana, refuses to admit that he accused me of misuse of state funds. I have proof that he has done so, but he refuses to admit that he lied about me having done so. Vote accordingly, Missoula.
"Defamation or "defamation of character," is spoken or written words that falsely and negatively reflect on a living person's reputation.
If a person or the news media says or writes something about you that harms your reputation, or that keeps people from associating with you, defamation has occurred. Slander is oral defamation, and libel is written defamation.
If you have been harmed by the defamatory remarks or statements of another, seek the advice of a libel and slander attorney in your area."
Govern yourself accordingly.

p.s. - I demand a retraction.

Demand away, kitten. I can prove what you've falsely said of me. Can you do the same? Until you can, stuff your demands ...

What I said of you is that you didn't work for the state. I was mistaken about who you worked for but, in fact, defended you in misappropriation of state assets.
You, on the other hand, have accused me of a crime re: "old people." You retract it or I'm going to file a suite against you (pro se) for defamation. Do some research, Rob. You're on really thin ice here.
You don't know squat about my business, my reputation as an asset manager, or my client base yet, you have told the world that I'm a crook. Since I'm not a public figure you have in fact defamed me professionally and the burden of proof is on you - not me.

No Dave. I gave my opinion. "Fleecing" is not a legal term. It is, in fact, a slang term well used by pundits and bloggers, including yourself (try Google, kitten). You have admitted online that most of your clientele are older; no falsehood there. So I've accused you of nothing that you haven't already admitted ... drawing income from old people in a manner that could be described negatively.
You see, Davey, I've done my research. And though you might be correct about the thin ice, I haven't fallen through, and you know it. You are, as you have admitted, an "asset manager" collecting funds from older clients. You will not bully me into a retraction, for I've said nothing about you that you haven't established or that legally actionable. Any lawyer would tell you that, but I'm not certain that I would trust Steve's opinion on the matter considering that he directly accused me of misappropriation of state funds. But please, if you feel the need to go forward with this, I anticipate the countersuit.
~wink~

You're on. Slang is a matter of "context" in libel suites. The question is "would a reasonable person determine that "fleecing old people" is a crime. You didn't state an opinion. You said I had been "fleecing old people." In Montana and throught the SEC and the NASD trading in bad faith with senior citizens has special meaning.

Then I look forward to hearing from your legal representative.

You'll be hearing from me. I'm filing pro se.
