That Had To Hurt, And It Did

I managed to chop a goodly portion of flesh off the tip of my ring finger.  Though I tend to think of myself as a two-finger typist, it turns out I do use more, but not now.  So, if typos get bad, or posting goes light, I hope that you'll understand.

It must be contagious. My father in law just did the same thing when his middle finger got too cozy with his router table. He lost it up to the first joint, but all is well because now I can feel o.k. about calling him stumpy (he's short, and thankfully good humored). Heal quickly; and for god sakes stay away from the sharp objects for a while.

Doug, mine wasn't nearly as bad as your FIL. It was just a good hunk of flesh. No bone involved (thank God.)

Isn't that your wife's talent - mishaps with sharp objects? Hope you both aren't getting accident prone. :)

Better heal up before next Saturday!!!!

Ouch! That hurts! I feel it blocks away on the south side of town! Given your reports about the size of your hands, I am imagining a "goodly portion of flesh" being more than I could afford to lose. I guess the good news is that it wasn't your trigger finger!

On another note, I have been busy preparing my greenhouse for a new season of life and have not been paying close attention to the blog world, but having taken a break from my advance work on behalf of Spring, I would like to say that your post on the Richardson endorsement of Obama is the best personal evaluation of current affairs that I have seen in this election cycle.

Keep on keepin' on!
