Who All 'Dat?!?
I said it, yeah, unhuh I did. Larry Craig will not go gentle into that good night ... and he shouldn't. He is that deeply in denial that he wishes to retain the power granted him, by the very folk who revile his needs, including himself. Things are about to get a whole lot more fun ...
What's basically happening is that we have a tape of him telling his lawyer he was planning to go out and lie on camera about resigning, Arlen Specter had agreed to help make the lie work, and the lawyer should get on camera to jumpstart the scheme.
I doubt there's anything he could do at this point to be more hated by the GOP.
He may not resign, but that would probably lead to him disappearing mysteriously.

Would'nt laughing at Craig's actions make you a bigot?

Enough with the hints, Swede! Yes, I will get you a dictionary for Christmas. But it's up to you to actually read it.

Much like Jesus, I am perhaps bigoted against moral hypocrites. In other words, I might be intolerant of people who condemn others for a lifestyle they themselves engage in. I believe one should live by their moral convictions. In that sense I suppose I could indeed be a bigot regarding Mr Craig.
But that assumes I'm "intolerant", which is quite dubious. In fact the contrary position might be more accurate. I am rather giddy with delight any time an anti-gay crusader turns out to be bi/gay.
And let's be realistic here..... How can one not laugh at this? A moral conservative lawmaker dials a wrong number and records, "Hi, just wanted to let you know I'm going to lie on camera during the press conference where I deny having sex with men in restrooms."
Seriously? You don't think that's a free and clear opportunity for laughter?
