It seems that 11 crazed muslamofascist jihadists are loose ... LOOSE, I TELL YOU! ... in New York city; or at least some would have you believe that. 11 exchange students from Egypt, who were on a cultural and language exchange trip to MSU, have gone missing. Only a fool would believe that they aren't *really* here to violate our women, blow up our buildings, bring commerce to a stand-still and destroy our very way of life! What is the evidence?
1) They are of the right age to be jihadists!
2) Their destination was a school that doesn't understand that all muslamofascitic Egyptians want to do is kill us! Stupid MSU! It's just so pre-9/11 ...
3) The FBI is (doing their job) looking hunting for them.
4) We don't know that they *aren't* jihadists.
When I was a little kid, and I lost something, I used to believe that some evil force, like gremlins, had stolen that thing. Then I grew up. I don't believe in gremlins anymore. I don't believe in the boogie-man either. It's too damn bad that Malkin and her bed-wetting buddies haven't matured enough to realize that sometimes things happen without some satanic and evil plot.
Here's the thing, these boy's visas have been revoked. Upon being caught, they will be deported back to Eqypt. Law enforcement is doing it's job. There is no/notta/zip/zilch reason to be afraid that these boys are anywhere other than mid-town Manhattan getting drunk and buying hookers. A person's nationality or religion may predispose one to being a terrible threat to life and limb of us lamb-like innocents, but it shouldn't warrant us to be piss-panty afraid of a possibility.
So Michelle, I'll make you a deal: if these guys do turn out to be terrorists, I will lobby my alma mater (MSU) to stop their exchange program with middle eastern countries. If they are instead found to be buying Calvin Kleins and attempting to get laid, then you can post an apology on your website. Since I know full well that you never admit to being wrong, Michelle, I'll rather ask that you post a picture of the panties you wore while first encountering this story, complete with the urine-stains-o-terror. I know that neither one will happen. But in asking for such, you might at least get the idea that I will not be afraid, regardless of how much you truly desire me to be.
While I actually agree with you on this specific issue (I've commented elsewhere that they might well be enjoying the sites in Yellowstone), I have to point out that I've seen out in the intarweb tubes many an anti-Bushite claiming that this is just a ploy to increase Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt during the run-up to the election. So you might add some of your own compatriots to the crowd who "haven't matured enough to realize that sometimes things happen without some satanic and evil plot."

Michelle Malkin? She's a complete tool. She was recently on the O'Lielly factor denying the fact that Qana was bombed by Israel, killing nearly 50 civilians, including many many children. She claimed it was basically a liberal plot. NOTHING she says is worth a damn.

Actually Wolfie, only a fool would take away what you did from what I wrote.
But hey, I'm sure it happens to the best of us sometimes.
Btw, everything I wrote in my post conclusion was factual. Also, if it wasn't something we needed to watch out for, the FBI wouldn't have sent out press releases and revoked their visas.
So thanks for minimalizing what could, possibly, maybe, who knows, be something dangerous, that could, possibly maybe, who knows, your opinion is a good as mine, end up being something, or nothing.
At least we got to call each other fools over the internet though, right? Have to keep that bad blood boiling, lest your readers think you need a testosterone injection.

Analog kid, do you remember that dandy little slogan all the cool kids were using to talk smack after the London bombings? No, not the "we're all made of Londonium" pap. "I am not afraid". That's what we were saying; yup, even me too.
That didn't last so long in America, now did it? And half the reason is that we have a much better breed of fear-monger here.
Testerone rush or not, I probably wouldn't have commented at all, if Michelle wouldn't have taken a passive-agressive swipe at MSU. Their exchange program is a good one, and to blame them that some scary dudes are on the loose is beyond rediculous. She beats the drums of fear way too hard. Concider this my way of reiterating
I am not afraid.

I'm so glad that I know how to react now.

One of the terrorists has been found.

In the sense that this is something we don't want happening regarding domestic security, yes. That, of course, doesn't mean there's much of a chance of them having anything to do with terrorism, though.
For the record, their ages are not much of an indicator. The average age of al Qaeda suicide bombers is mid-late 20s.

How about those extremely non political orange alerts?
Posted by: grannyinsanity | August 10, 2006 at 01:43 PM
So if a group of Bible students from Jerry Fallwell's University go missing we should assume that a plot to bomb abortion clinics and mail anthrax is underway?
They're about the right age to be Fundy wackjobs, you know.

Sweetly put, Erox.

"I am not afraid". That's what we were saying; yup, even me too.
Glad to hear you're 'Balls Out' for America, Wolfie. But remember, there is a difference between 'Smart' and 'Stupid'.
Stupid is sensing something wrong and doing nothing to correct/defend because of what others may think of you.
Smart is sensing something wrong, using the information gained from previous events and learning while defending.
You seem to want to do the former, or at least think of people doing the latter are over-reacting/fear-mongering.
And E, have there ever been bombings of abortion clinic by Falwell U students? Have FU students ever mailed anthrax?
If you are going to create an analogy, at least try to build one that connects on the pertinent points. Otherwise, you just sound like an ass who doesn't have the analytical capacity to create a proper analogy and just wants to mock a standard leftist punching bag for yucks.
Critical thinking is not intelligent thinking.

Americans are such pussies! It's one thing to theorize about how tyrants rule by fear, but to see it done, to see people peeing their pants, is disheartening. They are ruling not by fear alone, but also by deft channeling of hatred.

Get to the point, you condescending dick-dribble. And the name is Rob, or Wulfgar. Pick one.
Define "sensing". You piss-panty binch want to be afraid and react because, oh gee, these guys are from another country !!! And what exactly do you think your pathetic blog audience is supposed to do to correct/defend against a bunch of students gone wild? THe answer to that is simple: "Sense" that anybody from the Middle East is your enemy, be afraid, and revile them. What you call "sense, I call cowardice.
Yup that would be smart, given your ball-shriveling assumption that these young men want to do nothing but hurt you. But illegal aliens come to America all the time looking for jobs. My first assumption ... they want to be Americanized. Your first assumption ... they want to kill your wife, mail anthrax to your senator, and rape your dog. Grow up. That is fear-mongering, plain and simple.
Let's get this straight up, Anolog KId, you can't do jack-shit about these boys loose in America, except make others afraid of them and any like them. That's not preparing for the worst, it's being a pansy; you're afraid of a bunch of Egyptian boys who have intent you can't control. You're welcome to your fear ... I don't and won't share it.
You're a blogger, cupcake, and get that straight. You can spread facts, propaganda or fear. Your choice. What you can't do is defend yourself when you choose so poorly as you have here.
