Jinxed computer users might be sending out a bad vibe, researchers suggest

I had a former boss lady who could crash the company computer by touching the keyboard.  At work, I frequently answer the tech distress beacon by simply approaching the vile machine ... and it works.  Some of the folks I work beside actually believe that the machines are intimidated by me.  Whatever works, I say.  Read the article, though.  It's ... interesting.

Cars are like that, too.

On a serious note: I would be more convinced if PEAR had their research published in any reputable scientific journal. As it stands, they don't. The lab has also looked at "remote perception" and has been accused of very shoddy methodology. Brenda Dunne, the head of PEAR, has also refused an invitation to attempt James Randi's Million Dollar Challenge to demonstrate any paranormal phenomenon (and PEAR's research qualifies) under controlled conditions. She doesn't seem to have any specific reason for that, either.

There's more on PEAR here.

I believe it...Computers just like me, and eventually I get them to work...

My mom, can't...LOL
